Why this company exists

A résumé rarely tells the whole story.

Two candidates can share the same title and list the same tools while having very different levels of responsibility, judgment, and delivery experience.

Objective Proof was created to ask better questions before a profile reaches a hiring team: What did this person own? What constraints did they face? What action did they take? What changed as a result?

The goal is simple: give hiring teams a clearer picture of fit and give professionals an honest understanding of the role before either side invests more time.

Founder

Michael Sclafani

Michael is a U.S. Army veteran with more than nine years of Agile and technology-delivery experience, including multi-team work in regulated banking and insurance environments.

He has worked across delivery teams, Agile Release Trains, and organizational-level Centers of Excellence, collaborating with product owners, technology leaders, program leaders, and senior leadership up to the CIO level. That breadth of experience shapes how Objective Proof evaluates scope, ownership, dependencies, governance, risk, and measurable outcomes.

He has also hired Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters at Bank of America and Prudential, bringing firsthand perspective to how candidates are evaluated for the roles Objective Proof serves.

Michael’s professional background is founder experience. It does not represent Objective Proof client work, placements, or company past performance.

Operating standards

What guides the work.

01

Relevant beats numerous.

A smaller group of well-matched candidates is more useful than a large stack of résumés.

02

Details should be visible.

Fit, gaps, location, timing, rate alignment, and open questions belong in the conversation.

03

Permission is required.

A candidate’s information is shared only for a specific role they reviewed and approved.

04

Communication should be direct.

Both sides should understand what is known, what is not, and what happens next.

Why the role focus is narrow

Specialization supports better screening.

Objective Proof focuses on Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs). Michael personally vets candidates across all three specialties, drawing on firsthand team, program, and organizational delivery experience.

Screening explores real situations: team facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, cross-team dependencies, PI Planning, and ART coordination. The discussion examines what the candidate owned, how they responded, and what changed.
